A Comfort and Luxury Wooden Bed Without A Big Price Tag To Match

By Phoebe 27 August 2012

A comfy and stylish wooden bed doesn’t have to come with a big price tag attached to it. When choosing a bed for yourself, it is important that you get the best bed possible for your budget.

People often disregard how vital having the right style of bed and type of mattress is for its intended purpose, or they oversee the importance of the investment. As most of us spend at least 8 hours a day, about a third of our life sleeping, it is a decision you don’t want to take lightly. Sleep is a vital factor in maintaining physical health and a strong mental wellbeing. With a solid wooden bed frame and a suited mattress, this is possible, and your body will thank you for it!

The best place to start is by choosing the right wooden bed for you. We currently have wide selection of handmade beds to suit different preferences, uses or tastes. Depending on whether the wooden bed will primarily be used as daily bed, a guest bed or loft bed, we have several options that are available to you. Our Kings Bed is one of our most robust bed frames which will truly stand the test of time. The Chelsea Bed and London Bed are our slightly more streamlined bed frames, providing you with a classy, luxurious bed which really comes into own when in king size or super king size. If there is a loft room or attic you are wishing to utilise, our Low Platform Bed or Low Oriental Bed will take account of any low or sloping ceilings. The Low Platform Bed is a simple, yet elegant design which exudes style and sophistication. The Low Oriental Bed – influence by Japanese décor is an excellent choice for people looking for a more minimalist, tranquil setting to sleep.

All of our wooden beds are handmade from solid timber and built to any bespoke style or dimension you require. They feature Mortise and Tenon joints which are amongst the most durable and structurally sound woodworking joints, and will ensure your bed lasts for many years to come.

Once you’ve selected your wooden bed frame, the mattress is the next step. We offer three types of mattress, an open-coil, pocket-sprung and Memory or Latex foam and some hybrids between them. Visit our Mattress Guide for the best information on which of our mattresses is for you.

Comfort doesn’t have to come at a price. With the right information and know-how, a Get Laid Beds wooden bed that is built specific for you and to your requirements will provide you with years of luxurious sleep and happy dreams.
