Having a regular sleeping pattern can be much more beneficial than a lot of us realise. Waking up easy is all about timing. Sleep cycle alarm clocks track your sleep patterns and wake you up during light sleep. Waking up during light sleep will naturally mean that you wake up feeling more well rested, even without an alarm clock.

On busy days, cutting back on sleep may seem like the only logical solution. But this actually isn’t the case, just losing on out on even an hours sleep can have a highly negative effect on your mood and energy. Although some of us will try to limit the amount of sleep that we get, we would definitely advise against this.

One of the most common distractions from sleep tends to be mobile phones, but it’s important to ensure that you avoid any distractions during that crucial hour before you go to bed. The best way to wind down before going to bed is to read a book. Although many of us tend to either watch TV or go on their mobile phones whilst in bed, this has an affect on how long it takes for you to drift off to sleep.

The quality of your sleep can have a direct affect on the quality of your waking life. This also includes your mental sharpness, productivity, emotional balance, creativity, physical vitality, and even your weight! Having an unhealthy sleeping pattern can actually result in you gaining weight and can have a negative effect on your day to day life.

Overall, having a healthy sleeping cycle can have a huge impact on your alertness and will therefore make you feel more awake. Sleeping in cycles can be extremely useful as it will make you more alert and will make you function much better during the daytime.
