About Knoydart
Knoydart is a peninsula which is only accessible by boat and has a population of fewer than 100 people. It also hosts the Guinness Book of records remotest Pub on the British mainland “The Old Forge”.
The First Leg of The Journey
After our master craftsmen handcrafted the wooden beds within our British workshop, the beds then began their perilous journey from Leicester to Knoydart. The beds were first delivered to Mallaig Pier on the West Coast of Scotland. From there, they were then loaded onto the boat for transportation to the remote location of Knoydart.
Once the boat was loaded, they began their journey across the Loch Nevis to Knoydart. Thankfully, the sun was beaming down, allowing for a smooth ride in the sunny British weather.
