Our Cambridge Bed features a highly sophisticated and modern design whilst retaining a traditional feel with the handmade wooden design. The simplistic but stylish detail on the headboard and footboard helps to distinguish this bed frame from our other wooden bed frames in our range. The Cambridge Bed with its contemporary feel will enhance any modern bedroom and complement its surroundings but it will also create a twist in a more traditional environment.
As standard, our Cambridge bed is handmade utilising solid Scandinavian Pine which is reliably sourced and it creates a robust and sturdy bed frame. The pine option is available in a wide variety of different stains ranging from our natural sandy stain, our white and our black stain to name just a few. As well as our pine, we also feature upgraded luxury hardwood options available which are 100% natural hardwood which include oak, walnut, ash and cherry.
Our handmade wooden bed frames at Get Laid Beds are manufactured using traditional mortise and tenon joints – these have been used for centuries and are one of the most sturdy methods of construction. This mortise and tenon construction is one of the many reasons that we offer an eleven year guarantee on all of our wooden bed frames including the Cambridge Bed, our Four Poster Beds and our Low Beds.
Because all of the beds are handmade to order, we also offer a bespoke custom size and alteration process. This ensures that no matter what space you have available in your room we can alter the dimensions for you to make sure this fits. This also works if you have a differently sized mattress from standard – we can have the bed frame handmade to fit around this.
