The Chelsea Bed frame features a large slanted elegant headboard to provide maximum comfort and support, especially to those who like to read or watch TV in bed.  The Chelsea is a very popular choice for master bedrooms because of its solid design and sophisticated and classy appearance.  The bed frame is available in all sizes ranging from a Single, Double and all the way to a Super-King, but as a result of its grand and elegant presence, it is best suited when in the largest of sizes, the Super King.  

The Chelsea Bed is made with Mortise and Tenon joints like all our bed frames which offers easy assembly and provides one of the strongest frame designs out there.  This enhanced structure is ideal for supporting lots of weight and will remain sturdy throughout one’s lifetime.  

The Chelsea Bed Frame sits at a standard height and is available in a variety of wood stains and colours, which are then all finished by hand in a clear satin for durability and protection.  The height of the bed frame allows for a clearance underneath which can be utilised for storage, such as with our under-bed storage boxes.

As all of our beds are handmade to order in England, we are able to accommodate any bespoke requirements for little extra cost.  So if you require such an adjustments or would like to customise the bed for a particular purpose you have in mind, then give us a call and we will be happy to make a bed to suit your exact requirements.

Please note that the "Solid Hardwood" option will take us a little longer to make in our workshop due to the extra work involved.  Therefore the delivery of your frame can be no shorter than 14 days for manufacturing reasons - so please choose the standard delivery option when purchasing.
