Flat packed beds are much easier to transport than ready assembled beds and much less likely to get damaged, ensuring a smooth transition from our workshop to your home. Also, nothing is worse than ordering your new handmade bed, waiting for the delivery and when the order arrives…it doesn’t fit through your door or up your stairs (especially if you are living in a smaller or differently shaped home). Flat packing takes away this worry and allows easy access in and around your home. This is beneficial too if you need to store the beds for a while as flat packing isn’t as cumbersome as ready-made furniture and it can be neatly stored away until ready for use, making it space efficient.
Another advantage to flat packed beds is that some people enjoy the ‘D.I.Y’ aspect of it all and enjoy building their own bed and feel a sense of pride when this has been accomplished.
At Get Laid Beds, we know the right bed is a very important choice and we manufacture all of our beds using solid mortise and tenon joints which provide a stable structure. This is further increased by the use of thick and wide solid wooden slats.
As all our beds are individually handmade to order, for a small additional fee we offer a full customisation and bespoke service to tailor make your bed for your own individual needs. This may be a case of wanting the height changed, the width or even the length for a tailor made bed only for you. Even with this service, we can still offer the same delivery service as with our other products, arriving with you as quickly as four working days from order on our urgent delivery.
