We ordered a King’s Bed in chocolate and are over the moon with how easy it was to assemble and how beautiful it looks in our bedroom. It is really good to see a properly made traditional wooden bed with the mortise and tenant fixtures which certainly enhance the rigidity and robustness of our bed. Firstly, terrific service – great advice and help on the phone, an immediate sense that you know you’re talking to someone who knows their stuff (unlike a never knowingly undersold retailer of whom we had high expectations and rubbish service) and, in Rachel, someone whose advice was based on customer need not selling. “Firstly they answer the phone, then they’re polite, down-to-earth and know their stuff backwards ! I must have phoned them 10 times with various enquiries checking and double checking and never once did I get the sense that they thought I was being a nuisance and this is before we actually placed an order with them. Delivery was a mere four days later courtesy of two very affable guys, who heaved and shoved the mattress up two flights of stairs into our loft conversion – no mean feat for an Eastern King size top of the range mattress.. Their tenacity was very impressive I was convinced it wasn’t going to fit. It’s beautiful and luxurious and best of all, both mattress and bed are hand made in the UK. Go on treat yourself !!”

“I have never written a review of a company before, yet feel that the service I received from Get Laid Beds means I must
The bed was a bespoke day bed with a couple of amendments. The order process was simple and they contacted us the next day, to discuss the amendments and ensure they understood what I was really after.
The bed was delivered on the day and time they said it would be and everything was at it should be. Unpacking the pars revealed all the screws, required drill bit and an Electric screw driver/drill. I mean who includes one of those with an order !!!
When we had constructed the bed, we realised we had missed of a critical part of the bed. We called, they said no problems, it was manufactured and then delivered, at no extra charge, no even for the delivery.
I cannot begin to explain how impressed I have been with the company and the people that work for it. They have done everything that was asked of them and much more.”

“I have just bought a kingsize bed from Getlaidbeds. I wanted the look of the Country Bed but the height of the Kings bed (to be able to sit in bed and see out of a velux window!), finished in cream paint and with rounded edges to the legs. Despite my to’ing and fro’ing with the exact height and what finish I wanted Libby was courteous, helpful and patient throughout and the workshop made the bed exactly as I wanted – adding 6 inches extra height to the legs of the Country Bed. The finish is excellent too. The main part of the bed arrived on the date and time I asked, and although the slats didn’t turn up then (maybe a courier problem?), I let Libby know and they arrived within 24 hours. Excellent bed, good value from an excellent company.”
