Our Floating Bed and Floating Platform Bed are our two Floating Beds by Get Laid Beds both feature an inset bed frame to allow the mattress to effectively float above the bedroom floor. This stunning design is not only attractive but importantly takes up little of your valuable floor space. With no legs at the foot of the bed, it is also practical and ensures you won’t ever catch your feet whilst walking around the bedroom due to the floating beds style.
In addition to the base and main framework being set back from the perimeter, the Floating Beds also feature a sophisticated slanted headboard made from solid wood in keeping with the overall design and provides that required support should you like reading in bed or catching up on some TV. The headboard is only at a slight slant ensuring that it still offers you the full level of support. This modern and contemporary design makes this an instant hit with children, teenagers and adults alike.
Another in the range of Floating Beds is our Floating Platform Bed, which features the same inset bed frame and base but without the headboard. This more contemporary wooden bed frame not only provides the customer with a more modern and sleek sleeping solution for a master bedroom, it is also an incredible versatile wooden bed which can be used as a guest bed in a guest room, attic or loft or even in a bedroom which is naturally small / cluttered / busy and would benefit from a low, neat and minimalist design.
All of the beds at Get Laid Beds are manufactured with traditional mortise and tenon joints which are a robust and secure way of manufacturing bed frames and furniture having being used for many years. This is one of the main reasons that we can offer an impressive eleven year guarantee on ALL of our handmade wooden bed frames.
As all of the beds are manufactured in a handmade to order fashion we are able to manufacture the bed frame to your needs. This could include increasing the clearance of the bed frame to incorporate additional storage or to alter the dimensions to fit a different shaped room. Once the order has been processed, your chosen bed frame will be sent to our workshop to be handcrafted ready for delivery on your chosen delivery date. All of our wooden beds, including this Floating Bed come flat packed for convenience and they feature full instructions and fittings ready for simple home assembly.
