Once our Oxford Bed Frame was launched this turned into an instant success with its effortless style and sophistication creating a statement piece within any home. The Oxford Bed is very similar in design to our traditional and highly popular London Bed except that headboard is higher, creating more of an impact in your room.
The Oxford Bed has an elegant look and has a deep footboard which creates a discreet storage solution within your house whilst still retaining good clearance on either side of the bed frame for easy access. This winning combination provides additional comfort, support and is made from high quality materials making this one of our personal favourites here at Get Laid Beds.
Like all of the beds here at Get Laid Beds, the Oxford Bed frame is handmade to order here in the heart of the United Kingdom by our team of experienced bed makers. Because of this, we are able to offer the Oxford Bed in a wide variety of ‘standard’ sizes ranging from a small single, to a double, super king and even our magnificent and extravagant super caesar size! Alongside these sizes we also have a full custom size and alteration process which enables us to create a bed frame to your exact measurements and specifications. For example, should you want our Oxford Bed in a Super King but are only a mere few centimetres away from fitting it into your room we can alter the dimensions to ensure that it will fit. This can be especially beneficial if you are trying to fit a bed frame within an alcove.
The handmade to order factor also enables us to offer any of our bed frames in any stain finish or hardwood. As standard, all of our bed frames are made from solid Scandinavian pine which can be stained in a variety of colours ranging from our natural sandy stain to a striking white, feature worthy black or even our classy rose red. Alongside the solid pine, we also have upgraded natural hardwood options too. Unlike many other bedmakers, our natural hardwood options are 100% pure from an FSC accredited source and they are simply finished with a clear satin stain to accentuate the natural beauty of the hardwood. We can guarantee that absolutely no cheap veneers are used in the construction of our bed frames and each option is the full natural wood.
