Finding the Perfect Pet Beds

As a nation, we really are pet-lovers. 1 in 4 households have a pet dog, 1 in 5 have a pet cat, and 1 in 10 have a tank of fish. Since pets often spend a large portion of their lives sleeping, it’s no wonder so many of us pet lovers want to treat them to something comfortable for snoozing away in.

Where Do Pets Like to Sleep?

Cats

Cats tend to find their own sleeping spaces, typically choosing to either curl up somewhere like the end of their owners’ beds, on a soft seat, or in a warm spot on the carpet that is out of the way. They like warmth, softness, and peace.

We recommend our raised wooden pet bed (pictured) for cats; the extra platform makes for a perfect pet throne, and with the add on of a plug-in or microwaveable heating pad, the wooden cat bed will remain warm to keep your feline friend comfortable during the colder months.

Cats can be quite unsociable when they choose to sleep, and they prefer peace and quiet, so choose a place that’s easy for your cat to access, but away from the busy areas in your home.

Dogs

Dogs can be tricky to find the right bed for. Some owners will spend large sums of money on the finest bedding for their dogs, only for them to then ignore their expensive bed and sleep on the wooden floor.

It’s important to not just splash large amounts of cash to get the fanciest-looking dog bed available, as this doesn’t assure that your dog will appreciate it. Just make sure it’s a warm and soft area that the dog can snuggle up to, like our large wooden pet bed (pictured). It’s ideal as a large wooden dog bed, and is available in three different sizes for every kind of dog.

Most dog beds will require a regular cycle wash in the washing machine, although some cheap dog beds and pillows can become misshapen or lumpy after a few washes. At Get Laid Beds, however, our we create 100% solid wood pet beds, and the pet bed mattress is specifically designed to sit within it so that your pet sleeps just as well as you do. Get Your Pet a Good Night’s Sleep

Every pet is different, but our comfortable pet beds are soft and warm; the main criteria for a comfortable night’s sleep for your furry friend.

Our wooden pet beds are available in the same 17 different woods and finished as our other wooden bed frames, so your pet’s bed can match and fit in right alongside your own.
