The Floating Bed by Get Laid Beds features an inset bed frame to allow the mattress to effectively float above the bedroom floor. This stunning design is not only attractive but importantly takes up little of your valuable floor space. With no legs at the foot of the bed, it is also practical and ensures you won’t ever catch your feet whilst walking around the bedroom. We have found that our customers also like the fact that the inset legs can fit around thick skirting boards helping the Floating Bed to fit into awkward rooms.
In addition to the base and main framework being set back from the perimeter, the Floating Bed also features a sophisticated slanted headboard made from solid wood in keeping with the overall design and provides that required support should you like reading in bed or catching up on some TV. This Floating Bed is available from a small single size to a huge Super Caesar and is also available in all colours and can now be made with our luxury hardwood options too!
Another in the range of Floating Beds is our Floating Platform Bed, which features the same inset bed frame and base but without the headboard. This more contemporary wooden bed frame not only provides the customer with a more modern and sleek sleeping solution for a master bedroom, it is also an incredible versatile wooden bed which can be used as a guest bed in a guest room, attic or loft or even in a bedroom which is naturally small / cluttered / busy and would benefit from a low, neat and minimalist design.
With many years of experience in the wooden bed making industry, our specialist bed makers here at Get Laid Beds use many traditional manufacturing techniques such as the half lap and Mortise and Tenon joints which provide the bed with incredible strength and durability.
If you have any other requirements or would like to make and changes to your bed frame, we will happily manufacture a wooden bed to suit you and your specific bedroom requirements. This can include increasing the clearance underneath the bed to provide a discreet storage option. Once purchased, your handmade bed will be sent to our workshop to be handcrafted ready for delivery on your chosen date which could be as little as four days away. All of our wooden beds, including this Floating Bed are relatively easy to assemble and come flat packed with full instructions ready for home assembly.
