The Kensington Bed is our latest bed to be added to our range and is the perfect option for anyone looking a stylish handmade wooden bed frame that’s simple and sleek but still has a presence to be the focal point of any bedroom.
Similar to the ever popular Chelsea Bed, it features a large slanted elegant headboard to provide to provide maximum comfort and support, especially to those who like to sit up and read in bed or catch up on your favourite programs on TV. However unlike the Chelsea Bed, we have removed one of the foot end rails to create a more minimalist design and increase the space underneath to possibly slide in a guest bed.
As with any of our handmade bed frames, the Kensington Bed is handcrafted using traditional mortise and tenon joints for maximum support by our skilled carpenters and joiners before being quality checked, carefully packaged and sent to the customer. We pride ourselves on our workmanship and high level of quality and therefore offer an 11 year guarantee on all of our wooden beds.
As standard the material we use for our wooden beds in sustainable Scandinavian Pine, however we now offer all of our handmade beds in a solid hardwood. The Kensington Bed is available in all sizes however we feel it really comes into its own when in a King Size or even larger and is great for those wanting to make a statement.
As all our beds are handmade to order, for a small additional fee we offer a full customisation and bespoke service to tailor make your bed for your own individual needs. Even with this service, we can still offer the same delivery service as with our other products, arriving with you as quickly as four days from order.
