Simply put, the quality and strength of our bed frames is all in the material that we use. Pine bed frames are unique because like most wooden bed frames, they have a natural finish. Each beam and slat tells a story. Pine bed frames, have a smooth, yet intricate pattern of life along their grains. They display the rings of the years the tree had lived, it’s strength ever increasing as time goes on. Knots in a tree’s trunk are a mark of survival.
Another excellent quality of pine bed frames is that they can be finished with a number of desired coloured stains. Customers past and present have often displayed their delight at the quality of finish to their new wooden bed frame. The stains we use are slightly opaque, creating a much smoother finish.
For those who prefer a more aesthetic appearance, we also offer solid hardwood bed frames. The natural grain and blend of the wood give it character and many prefer it to be unpainted, to allow this organic finish to permeate their bedroom
Both our pine and solid hardwood bed frames are very durable, as they are designed with longevity in mind. They are carefully hand crafted in our workshop in Leicester. While you may find difficulty in deciding whether to buy a solid hardwood bed frame or a pine bed frame, it’s important to remember that all our wooden beds are given the same lovingly handmade approach by our experts.
