The Low Tokyo Bed is similar in design to our Low Oriental Bed. This handmade wooden bed frames sits only 4 inches off the floor and can therefore be used in a variety of settings such as within attic or loft rooms, guest rooms or even for an oriental twist in a master bedroom. The simple, elegant design offers the same unique style as its predecessor, however possesses a slightly taller headboard for extra support.
Sleek and modern, this bed is a great addition to complete your individual taste – although the bed frame itself comes standardised there a various ways in which you can customise the low bed to fit in seamlessly with its surroundings or be the centrepiece of your bedroom.
Firstly you have selected that the Low Tokyo Bed is the perfect wooden bed for you can select how big you want to go – we offer a selection of UK and European bed sizes as standard, starting with a small single bed and going all the way through to a Super Caesar Bed. If you are after something more specific and tailor-made this is also possible as all of our beds are fully bespoke and made to order.
Once you’re happy with the size, the next step is to select the material. If you select the solid pine finish there are a variety of satin finishes to suit your needs ranging from a dark and sumptuous chocolate all the way to white and everything between. If a durable and classy Hardwood is what you are after then we have a selection of hardwoods including classic Oak, rich Walnut, light Maple or solid Ash among others.
As well as this, we now have the option to have curved corner legs on our bed frames. As standard, all of our bed frames feature a slightly bevelled edge to reduce sharp corners, however with curved corners it is the entire leg post that has a curve which can be aesthetically pleasing as it follows the contours of the mattress and especially works well on our Space Saver Beds. We also have the addition of felt floor protectors on the base of the legs which can prove useful for those who have wooden flooring as it reduces the risk of scratches.
