We offer a wide variety of choice when buying a new bed. Offering the choice between solid Scandinavian pine, or maybe you would prefer to upgrade to one of our solid hardwood frames.

Oak is one of our popular hardwoods, as it’s perfect for making handmade furniture. An oak bed frame is very strong and is light in colour.

Another of our recommended hardwood options is Walnut. Walnut is very versatile and durable, without being excessively heavy. Walnut is light to dark chocolate brown in colour. Cherry is also brown in colour and can resist warping and checking.

As well as traditional hardwoods, we also offer more exotic choices such as Mahogany. Mahogany is a tropical hardwood indigenous to South America, Central America and Africa. It is thought to be one of the most luxurious materials with which to make handmade furniture from. Mahogany is a red/brown colour. It is an excellent carving wood and finishes well.

If you have any further questions about our choice of hardwoods then please feel free to contact a member of our customer service team, who will be able to offer expert advice about our range of hardwoods. All of our hardwood bed frames are designed to stand the test of time and are supplied with an 11-year manufacturer’s guarantee as standard.
