Through months of market research, Get Laid Beds have expanded their range of wooden bed sizes to cater for those who were searching for an extra large bed frame. Originally, a Super King Bed was our largest sized bed but we now include the following sizes (these are in relation to mattress size – the external measurements of the extra large bed frame will depend on the bed chosen).
Eastern King – 6ft 6″ x 6ft”
Emperor – 7ft x 7ft
Super Emperor – 7ft 6″ x 7ft
Caesar – 8ft x 7ft
Super Caesar – 9ft x 7ft
These extra large bed frames are proving to be very popular especially with those who have larger families, those who wants to lie in front of the TV and for those who just want a bit of extra space as they sleep to stretch out – especially beneficial if you sleep in the ‘freefall’ position! Our Four Poster Bed – Summer makes an excellent feature point in an extra large bed size and provides the ultimate statement piece.
As well as these bespoke extra large bed sizes we also have a full custom size and alteration process. This means that if your requirements fall just outside of these dimensions or you are looking for a specific sized bed or mattress to fit a space in your room then we are able to offer this for you. As all of our beds, including our extra large bed frames, are handmade to order within the heart of the UK, bespoke bed sizes can be manufactured for a small additional fee.
We also offer bespoke options on all of our mattresses – this would need to be quoted for a price due to the custom nature of this. We find that many people who want a longer bed frame from us also look to us for their mattress as well ensuring a package deal will all arrive on the same set delivery date. We do understand that sometimes, space doesn’t allow for a huge 8ft/9ft to be able to fit through doorways and upstairs so we are able to offer zip and link on a number of our mattress – please contact us for a quote as this cost depends on the type of mattress and the size.
Since last year, we also offer European (Ikea) sized bed frames as a standard choice as well as mattresses. This ensures that if you already have an existing frame or mattress, we can cater to those sizing needs. With any of our sizes, we still offer an extensive 11-year guarantee to provide you with peace of mind.
