Not unless you want to. Most of our customers choose our assembly service, where we’ll professionally install it for you for total peace of mind. However, if you’d prefer to assemble it yourself, we offer two self-assembly options:

Room of Choice Delivery: we’ll deliver your bed to the room you choose, ready for you to assemble using our clear, easy-to-follow instructions

Standard Delivery: delivered to your front door for self-assembly

Bed frames up to a double size (135cm width) do not require a central support beam, as our extra-thick solid wood slats and traditional mortise and tenon joints easily carry the weight—a build quality we back with an 11-year guarantee. For King size frames and larger, the wider span introduces extra strain across the frame, so we fit a dedicated central support beam to protect the joinery and keep your bed rock-solid for decades.

All our beds are handcrafted from sustainably sourced timber and come with a comprehensive 11-year guarantee. We build our wooden frames to last generations, giving you total peace of mind in the quality of your sleep.

Every bed is available and specifically made to order. Rather than pulling mass-produced frames off a shelf, our skilled joiners handcraft your bed frame from 100% solid wood once your order is placed. Because we work with natural timber, the unique organic grain ensures no two pieces are ever identical. If you need your bed sooner, our express delivery options can have your custom frame built and delivered in as little as 72 hours.

Ordered the Oxford Super King in oakwood. Finishing and delivery was about 7 days, actually ahead of the initial delivery date stated. Quality of the finish and the joints are a cut above all other 'standard beds' ive had in the past. This bed should easily last a lifetime and I believe its worth...
