How do adjustable beds work?

The base of our adjustable electric beds is made up of 5 parts, allowing for the utmost personalisation when setting your bed to be just right for you. The mechanism itself uses low energy consuming electric motors to move, which can lift up to 155kg.

Easily controlled with the remote control and cordless for practicality, our motorised beds are ideal for perfecting your sleeping arrangement. Please note that the adjustable beds must be plugged into the mains to work.

Each wooden adjustable bed features a 5 point movement system, an included easy-to-use remote control, and a dual split option. As with all our beds, they are bespoke and can be tailored to your specific needs, with everything from leg style to slat base available to be tweaked.

Our electric adjustable beds work with compatible mattresses which help provide maximum comfort throughout their lifetime. Our mobility bed mattresses have been designed to move with the 5 part adjustable system found in our adjustable bed slat bases. A larger adjustable bed frame will benefit from dual adjustable systems, allowing for independent movement of 2 separate mattresses.
