By using strategically placed supports placed underneath the bed that recess inwards, allowing the bed frame to overhang the support beams, our expert craftsmen can make it appear as if the bed is floating. Plus, with some LED light strips in the space below the bed, you can turn your sleeping arrangement into a sensory sanctuary.

What Size Floating Beds Are Available?

Our floating beds come in a variety of sizes, ranging from a small single to a king size, all the way up to a Super Caesar. Some of our most popular sizes include a single, double and king.

Single floating beds: A single floating bed frame measures at 2ft 10” x 6ft 5” and is ideal for single sleepers or children who want a more magical sleeping experience.

Double floating beds: Perfect for couples or single sleepers who just want a bit more space, a double floating bed frame measures at 4ft 6” x 6ft 5”.

King size floating beds: A king size floating bed frame measures at an impressive 5ft 0” x 6ft 8”, giving you more than enough room to spread out, whether you’re a single sleeper or couple. Plus, a king sized floating bed will be an eye catching feature in any room.

What Colour Floating Beds Are Available?

Our wooden floating beds, as with all of our other collections of handmade bed frames, are available in 17 different gorgeous finishes. We have a large selection of 10 smooth satin stains that can be applied to any floating bed frame that can perfectly compliment your room’s aesthetic. A few customer favourites are the soothing warm white and sleek black frames among others. These floating bed frames are made of the highest quality solid Scandinavian Pine, gathered from sustainable forests.

No, floating bed frames don’t need a box spring on account of the fact that their hidden support beams are very sturdy and durable.

How do I assemble a floating bed frame?

All of our floating bed frames come flat packed right to your door. Instructions will be provided with the materials and self assembly is relatively simple. We would recommend assembling it where you want it to go, as moving a fully made bed frame can be difficult.
