On delivery day, our two-person team takes care of the heavy lifting right from your bedroom, ensuring your old mattress goes directly into a circular recycling scheme rather than a local tip.

In the UK alone, over 6 million mattresses end up in landfill every year. We are proud to operate a strict zero-to-landfill policy, making sure every single mattress we collect is deconstructed and repurposed into raw materials for new products.

We keep things as simple as possible so you can relax and enjoy your new bed. Here is all you need to do before our delivery team arrives:

• Strip the bedding - Remove all sheets, mattress toppers, duvet covers, and pillows so the mattress is completely bare.

• Clear the access route - Ensure hallways, stairs, and doorways are free of clutter or trip hazards so our team can carry the mattress out safely.

• Keep it inside - Please do not drag your mattress outside or leave it in the garden. Our team brings heavy-duty protective bags straight into your room to wrap the mattress before moving it.

• Ensure it meets hygiene rules - For the health and safety of our delivery drivers and recycling operators, collected mattresses must be completely dry, free from heavy staining, mould, pests, and biohazards.

Once our drivers take your old mattress away, it enters a dedicated UK circular recycling facility where it is carefully dismantled into core material streams:

• Steel Springs - Pocket springs and steel wire are separated, sanitised, and smelted down to create raw steel for manufacturing and construction.

• Foam Layers - High-density and memory foams are sanitised, shredded, and reprocessed into high-grade carpet underlay, sports mats, and packaging materials.

• Textiles and Fibres - Outer fabrics, wool, cotton, and synthetic layers are processed into insulation panels, acoustic felt, and textile padding.
