Do You Need a Box Spring with a Platform Bed?
Box springs are typically needed for metal bed frames and are used to support the mattress in the middle of the frame.
All our bed frames include 100% solid slats, eliminating the need for a traditional box spring. With our wooden frames, our advanced method of implementing solid wood slats negates the need for a box frame, because these hold up the mattress instead. These springs contribute to a solid construction guaranteed to last, as they cover 60% of the bed frame’s base and are twice as thick as the industry standard.

How Much Weight Can a Platform Bed Hold?
This unique construction of our wooden slats creates a foundation that can withstand up to 474kg of weight, which is far more than other wood bed frames on the market can hold. In fact, this means that our beds can withstand the average weight of six adults.
